St. Sebastian’s Basketball Raises Funds For American Cancer Society

On Saturday, February 5, the St. Sebastian’s and Andover varsity basketball teams participated in a game to benefit
Coaches vs. Cancer
. All proceeds from the contest went directly to the American Cancer Society to fund research, provide free programs for people with cancer, and advocate for better cancer screenings. Thank you to the generosity of many families we raised a total of $2,345. Following a pregame ceremony led by Headmaster Burke, the crowd was entertained by a great game played by two of the top teams in New England Class A basketball. The Arrows came out on top 69-55, but the American Cancer Society was the real winner of the day.
