5/26/16 The Independent School league would like to recognize its 12 boy's lacrosse alumni who will be competing in NCAA Championship weekend beginning this Saturday. Governor's leads the overall school count with five players competing, followed by Belmont Hill with three, and Middlesex with two (see entire list below). Players who've seen the most playing time thus far in the NCAA playoffs include Lawrence Academy alumnus Conor Helfrich, who has for years been among the nation's very best faceoff midfielders and is proving it once again in this year's playoff, and teammate AJ Enchill, a midfielder who sees regular shifts and makes contributions all over the field. In addition, former Governors' alumni Ryan Macri and Tate Jozokos are both very prominent members of the staunch UNC defensive core, and have seen significant playing throughout the playoffs just as they did for the majority of the 2016 season.
